Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics

University of Chicago

I am a Senior Research Associate in the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago and part of the directors’ teams at JILAEE and LACEA-BRAIN. Before joining UChicago I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Universidad del Rosario where I ran the Rosario Experimental and Behavioral Economics Lab (REBEL). I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics in June 2019 and completed my postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago and UCEMA.

My research interests are at the intersection of experimental economics, development economics and behavioral economics. In particular, I am interested in the behavioral biases of micro-entrepreneurs, the economics of migration, and how social networks affect decision-making.

I am an External Member of NOVAFRICA, and an Invited Researcher of the Weiss Fund for Development Economics, and J-PAL.
